Within the parliamentary dimension of the Latvian presidency of the European Union, the LIII Conference of Community and European Affairs Committees of Parliaments of the European Union (COSAC) Plenary Meeting will be held in Riga, from 31 May to 2 June 2015.

It was envisaged to present the current state of play of the Latvian presidency of the Council of the EU, as well as to have a discussion on the EU energy policy, trade policy, and negotiations with the USA on the trade agreement, and on the future of parliamentary control within the EU.

Participants in the Meeting will be Committee Chairperson Mr Slaven Radunović and Committee member Ms Nada Drobnjak.
