At today’s meeting of the Committee on European Integration, members of the Committee considered the Draft negotiation position of Montenegro for the Intergovernmental Conference on the Accession of Montenegro to the European Union for chapter 1 - Free movement of goods and Draft negotiation position for chapter 22 - Regional policy and coordination of structural instruments.

The main aspects of the documents were presented by the Chief Negotiator for Montenegro's Accession to EU and negotiator for chapter 22 Mr Aleksandar Andrija Pejović, negotiator for chapter 1 Mr Igor Noveljić, Head of the Working Group for preparing the negotiations in chapter 1 Ms Nina Vujošević as well as Head of the Working Group for chapter 22 Ms Ivana Vujošević.

Following dynamic discussion on the content of these chapters and upcoming activities of Montenegro in implementing the set obligations, the Committee members unanimously adopted positive opinions on the given drafts negotiation positions.

Given that the considered documents were classified as “internal”, the meeting was closed to the public.
