At its 51st meeting held today, the Committee on European Integration considered several documents from Montenegro’s accession process to the European Union, presented by Ambassador Mr Aleksandar Andrija Pejović, Chief Negotiator for Negotiations on Accession of Montenegro to the EU.

The Committee members provided a positive opinion on the Tenth quarterly report on overall activities within the process of Montenegro’s integration in the European Union, for the period January - March 2016, and they were informed on the content of the First and the Second quarterly report on fulfilment of commitments arising from Montenegro’s Programme of Accession to the European Union 2016 - 2018, for the period January - March and April - June 2016, and the addendums to the European Commission’s 2016 Progress Report on Montenegro, for the period 1 September 2015 - 20 May 2016 and 20 May 2016 - 01 September 2016.
