Committee on Human Rights and Freedoms of the Parliament of Montenegro held a third meeting today, where they considered amendments (two) submitted by MPs Mr. Neven Gošović, Ms. Snežana Jonica and Mr. Velizar Kaluđerović, to the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Civil Servants and State Employees.
As an authorised representative of the proponent, Mr. Veselin Vukčević, assistant to the Minister of the Interior, attended the meeting.
After the explanation by submitters of the amendments, the representative of the proponent and the discussion, the Committee, by a majority of votes (four “against” and two “abstained”) refused to support the amendments (two) submitted by MPs Mr. Neven Gošović, Ms. Snežana Jonica and Mr. Velizar Kaluđerović, to the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Civil Servants and State Employees.
The Committee, in order to achieve the goal set out by previously rejecting the amendments, with the consent by the submitter of amendments, submitted a new Amendment that the Committee unanimously supported and proposed to the Parliament for adoption.
The representative of the proponent consented to the amendment submitted by the Committee on Human Rights and Freedoms.
