The meeting was focused on the protection against domestic violence, aimed at fact-finding and obtaining the information on implementation of laws in this field, for the purpose of drafting the Report with Recommendations.
Deputy Chairperson of the Committee on Human Rights and Freedoms Ms Ljiljana Đurašković presented the state in this field in Montenegro, providing information on key regulations and their application in the practise. The representatives of NGO “The Advocates for Human Rights” assessed the obtained information as particularly good and concluded that those would be useful to them in drafting the report on domestic violence in Montenegro.
The interlocutors voiced mutual pleasure over today’s meeting and exchange of information and views on this very important topic.
