Delegation of the Committee on Human Rights and Freedoms, composed of Mr Halil Duković, Chairperson of the Committee, and Mr Rešad Sijarić, member of the Committee, participated in the Third regional conference of parliamentary bodies in charge of human and minority rights and gender equality, held in Sarajevo, on 23 and 24 November 2015.

The Conference was titled: “The Role of Commissions in Parliamentary Oversight of the Human Rights Field”.  

During the Conference, the participants emphasised the improvement of parliamentary cooperation, as well as the intention of contributing as much as possible to improvement of good relations.  They stressed that parliaments had an important role in this context, because they were obliged to promote and provide conditions for exercising human rights.
