The Chairperson of the Committee on International Relations and Emigrants Mr Miodrag Vuković, professor PhD, met today with the President of the Community of Montenegrins in the Republic of Macedonia Mr Miroljub Orlandić.

On that occasion, Mr Vuković informed Mr Orlandić on the current social and political situation in Montenegro, previous activities of the Committee on International Relations and Emigrants and the plans for the following year.

The President of the Community of Montenegrins thanked the Chairperson of the Committee on International Relations and Emigrants, informed him on the current condition and the problems that Montenegrin emigrants in the Republic of Macedonia were facing, and used the opportunity to invite the Chairperson and the members of the Committee on International Relations and Emigrants to meet at the beginning of the following year in Skopje, in order to agree on certain details concerning the problems that Montenegrin emigrants were facing.

Today’s meeting was the opportunity to initiate the practice of regular consultations with Montenegrin emigrant associations and communities abroad, in order to create continuity, and thus enhance cooperation in this sense.
