Second Meeting of the Committee on International Relations and Immigrants Held

The Committee gave a positive opinion on the proposal for appointing the ambassador to the World Trade Organisation (WTO) and the ambassador of Montenegro to the Republic of Hungary.

 

At the meeting held today, members of the Committee on International Relations and Immigrants of the Parliament of Montenegro considered the proposal to appoint Ms Zorica Marić-Đorđević as the permanent representative – extraordinary and authorised Ambassador of Montenegro to the World Trade Organization (WTO) and the proposal to appoint Mr. Mirsad Bibović to the position of the extraordinary and authorised Ambassador of Montenegro to the Republic of Hungary

After introductory remarks and introductions of candidates for the ambassadors, the MPs stated their views and opinions in relation to the proposed candidates.

Members of the Committee who took part in the discussion, pointed out in their statements that the candidates are exceptional and expressed belief that their missions in Geneva and Budapest will be successful, and that their proactive work, especially in the field of the economic diplomacy, will benefit Montenegro.

After the discussion with the candidate for the Ambassador of Montenegro to the World Trade Organization, Ms Zorica Marić-Đorđević, and the candidate for the Ambassador of Montenegro to the Republic of Hungary, Mr. Mirsad Bibović,  Members of the Committee supported the proposed candidates and gave a positive opinion by a majority of votes of the MPs present, starting with their professional, work and technical skills which recommend them for these functions, of which the Committee shall notify the President of Montenegro.
