Chairman of the Committee on International Relations and Emigrants, Mr. Miodrag Vuković, PhD, met today with an Advisor to the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Montenegro, H.E. Mr. Seyran Mirzazadeh.
During the meeting the interlocutors pointed out a good cooperation of the two countries, which, as they said, became more intensive in the last two years. During the conversation, the cooperation in the field of tourism, economy and culture was especially emphasized, as well as the intensive cooperation on the political level, but also the interest of the Republic of Azerbaijan regarding investment to Montenegro.
Chairman of the Committee on International Relations and Emigrants, Mr. Miodrag Vuković, PhD and the Advisor to the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Montenegro, Mr. Mirzazadeh considered the improvement of the parliamentary cooperation necessary, which, regarding the intensity was staging in comparison to other political forms of the cooperation between the two countries. Regarding that, the Chairman of the Committee, Mr. Miodrag Vuković, PhD, expressed confidence that the friendship group of the Parliament of Montenegro and the Parliament of the Republic of Azerbaijan would be established as soon as possible, what would be, as he said, the first mechanism on the basis of which it would be possible to act regarding strengthening of the parliamentary relations.
Advisor to the Ambassador, Mr. Seyran Mirzazadeh, especially emphasized his personal as well as the impression of the country he represented, that Montenegro was among rare countries which represented the example of the tolerance. It is, according to him, rarity and value of Montenegro, which made it closer to other countries.
In addition to exchange of opinions regarding the cooperation of the two countries in different areas, the meeting was an opportunity for the Advisor to the Ambassador to invite the Chairman of the Committee to participate at the following World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue. It is the Conference which is to gather ministers of culture, tourism and sustainable development as well as other recognizable representatives of the countries of the world, which will have an opportunity, through open dialogue, to discuss on challenges among cultures and religions, and respect of differences as well.
