Fourth meeting of the Committee on International Relations and Emigrants held

The Committee gave a positive opinion on the appointment of the Ambassador Ms. Slavica  Milačić

At the meeting held today, members of the Committee on International Relations and Emigrants of the Parliament of Montenegro considered the proposal to appoint Ms. Slavica Milačić as the standing representative – extraordinary and plenipotentiary Ambassador of Montenegro to Austria, Head of the Standing Mission to the OSCE and international organisations from the UN system, extraordinary and plenipotentiary Ambassador to the republic of Slovakia on a non-residential basis, extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of Montenegro to the Czech Republic on a non-residential basis.

After the introductory speeches and introduction of the candidate for the Ambassador and the Head of Montenegro to the OSCE mission in the international organisations from the UN system, the MPs stated their views and opinions relating to the proposed candidate.

Members of the Committee, who took part in the discussion, pointed out in their speeches that she was an extraordinary candidate and expressed belief that missions in mentioned countries and international organisations would be successful.

Members of the Committee supported the proposed candidacy and by a majority of votes of the MPs present gave a positive opinion, starting from her professional, work and expert skills that recommend her for the mentioned functions, of which the Committee shall notify the President of Montenegro.
