The Committee on International Relations, at the first meeting held today considered the Proposal for the Law on Budget of Montenegro for 2013, in section regarding consumer unit the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration.
Mr. Nemanja Pavličić, Assistant to the Minister of Finance attended today’s meeting of the Committee.
During the discussion, MPs dedicated special attention to the allocated funds for the work of the Center for Emigrants. In their opinion, diaspora is strengthened through financial support, and the envisaged funds are not enough to adequately protect interests of diaspora, its legal and cultural position, as well as quality exercise of their rights.
By majority votes, members of the Committee on International Relations and Emigrants decided to direct the Opinion on the Proposal of the Budget for 2013 to the line committee.
The election of the Chairman of the Committee was postponed for one of the following meetings due to additional consultations.
