Chairperson of the Committee on International Relations and Emigrants Mr Miodrag Vuković today received Ambassador Romania to Montenegro H.E. Mr Ferdinand Nagy.

The interlocutors discussed details of the forthcoming visit of Chairperson of the Committee for Foreign Policy of the Romanian Chamber of Deputies Ms Laszlo Borbely, who will pay an official visit to Montenegro, and whose host would be Chairperson of the Committee on International Relations and Emigrants Mr Miodrag Vuković.

Ambassador Mr Ferdinand Nagy praised results of Montenegro with regard to European and Euro-Atlantic integration, voicing Romania’s willingness for further support on that path.  

Chairperson of the Committee Mr Miodrag Vuković voiced pleasure over the intensifying of political dialogue of the two countries, quality of bilateral relations, parliamentary and overall cooperation of Montenegro and Romania.

During the meeting, a special attention was devoted to parliamentary dimension of cooperation through friendship groups of the two parliaments, whose intensifying should follow the quality of overall interstate relations.

In the same time, the meeting was an opportunity for the interlocutors to exchange opinions on the current issues in Montenegro.

The meeting was also attended by Deputy Head of Embassy of Romania to Montenegro Mr Stefan Mihai.
