Members of the Parliament of Montenegro, consisting of Mr Miodrag Vuković, Ms Žana Filipović, and Mr Nikola Gegaj, participated in the Summit “Balkan Partnerships - Strengthening the region’s ties”, which was held in Brussels, on 16 February.
The participants in the Summit agreed that it was necessary to work further on intensifying cooperation between the Western Balkans countries, which was especially insisted on at the last year’s Vienna Summit of the Western Balkans, which was held within the Berlin Process, when the European perspective of the Western Balkans countries was confirmed, including infrastructure and energy projects.
The Summit was also attended by the Minister of Economy Mr Vladimir Kavarić, who was one of the panellists on the topic “Getting the best out of doing business in the Balkans”.
This year’s Summit was opened by European Commissioner for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Mr Johannes Hahn.
