The interlocutors expressed pleasure over the intensity of political dialogue between the two friendly countries, previous quality of bilateral relations, parliamentary and overall cooperation between Montenegro and the Republic of Slovakia.

Ambassador Hloben commended continuous progress of Montenegro on its path towards the European and Euro-Atlantic integration, voicing Slovakia’s willingness to provide further support on that path. - The EU enlargement policy represents the priority of Slovakia, which on 1 July overtakes chairing of the European Union, points out Mr Hloben.

It was jointly assessed that it is important to hold a high level of cooperation between the two countries on all levels and especially to increase parliamentary cooperation by establishing friendship groups between the two parliaments, which will represent an occasion for members of the Committee on International Relations and Emigrants to visit their Slovak counterparts and vice versa.
