Chairperson of the Committee on International Relations and Emigrants Mr Miodrag Vuković and member of the Committee Ms Žana Filipović, upon invitation of the Frankish-Montenegrin Society (FRAMOG), attended the ceremonious celebration on the occasion of the Statehood Day and the tenth anniversary of the independence of Montenegro, which was held on Wednesday 13 July 2016, in the Town Hall of the Municipality of Nuremberg - Federal Republic of Germany.

In conversation with the President of the association Mr Ljubo Dabović and its members, the delegation of the Committee expressed special gratitude for invitation to attend this ceremonious event. On that occasion they pointed out that the Montenegrins and people originally from Montenegro in the FR Germany, a country friendly to us, from the beginning and without reservations, its loyal citizens, committed to its social development and affirmation.

It was noted during the conversation that the renewed and independent Montenegro in the past ten years had truly recognised the treasure and advantages in our emigrants, both in the FR Germany and beyond, and turned to thinking up policies by which it wanted to refresh and strengthen ties of emigrants with the homeland, respecting the countries in which they live, wanting to contribute to development of those countries and their social progress through a more meaningful relation with its emigrants.

Chairperson of the Committee Mr Vuković emphasised that our people in Germany were the best ambassadors of Montenegro and a bridge of cooperation of Montenegro with that beautiful and in many aspects rich country. Our people in this country are adorned with persistent and successful work which is a confirmation of dedication and love towards their country of origin, Montenegro, but also with responsible relation towards the country they live in and achieve their personal, familial, and professional ambitions, concluded Chairperson Vuković.

The Frankish-Montenegrin Society (FRAMOG) is recognised as an association which intensively deals with humanitarian and charity work, fostering relations between Francia and Montenegro on the economic, cultural, social, and sports field.
