The Ministry of Justice and the OSCE (Organization for Security and Cooperation) organized today, on 12 November 2014, a round table where the Draft Law on Confiscation of Assets Acquired from a Criminal Activity was presented.
Draft Law was discussed by: Branka Lakočević, Director General of the Directorate for Judiciary in the Ministry of Justice and Dragan Novosel, an expert of the European Commission.
Draft Law on confiscation of Assets Acquired from a Criminal Activity expanded the number of crimes for which property will be permanently confiscated, which, according to participants, significantly contributes to the fight against corruption and organized crime.
