The Conference is organized by the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe in cooperation with the Committee on Culture, Education and Communication of the Senate of France, which is also the host.

The Conference is part of a project implemented by the Council of Europe for strengthening its role and taking further steps in terms of protection and safety of journalists.

The Conference will be attended by the Member of the Parliament, Ms Marta Šćepanović, also the member of the Committee on Political System, Judiciary and Administration.
