At today’s 102nd meeting, the Committee on Political System, Judiciary and Administration determined a text of the public notice for the election of two members of the Prosecutorial Council from among respectable lawyers, in line with its competences.

Additionally, the Committee unanimously adopted a Decision on holding a control hearing of: Supreme Public Prosecutor Mr Ivica Stanković, Chief Special Prosecutor Mr Milivoje Katnić, and Minister of Justice Mr Zoran Pažin on the topic: “The current application in practice and effects of the new institutes from the Criminal Procedure Code (plea agreement, cooperative witness and others), their scope and limitations, and the application of the Law on Special Public Prosecutor's Office - effects and problems, with special focus on the model for electing the head of a special investigation team”, submitted by MP Ms Snežana Jonica.
