At today’s 126th meeting, the Committee on Political System, Judiciary and Administration has considered the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Media, submitted by MPs Mr Rifat Rastoder, Mr Dritan Abazović and Mr Zoran Miljanić.

Bearing in mind that this is an important systemic law, the Committee has taken the position, during the discussion, that it needs to be further considered. Therefore, the Committee reached a decision on holding a consultative hearing on the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Media.

The Committee will vote on this Proposal for the Law after the consultative hearing is held.

The Committee also considered the 2015 Annual Report on performance of the Judicial Council and general state of the judiciary. With regard to the said report, the Committee will submit the Report of the Committee with proposal for conclusions to the Parliament for adoption.
