19th meeting of the Committee on Political System, Judiciary and Administration held

At the 19th meeting of the Committee on Political System, Judiciary and Administration held today, several amendments to several proposals for laws were considered as well as Proposal for Decision on amendments to the Rules of Procedure of the Parliament of Montenegro and Performance Report of the Commission for Prevention of Conflict of Interests.

Six amendments to the Proposal for the Law on amendments to the Law on Internal Affairs were considered. Out of 4 amendments submitted by MP Snežana Jonica, the Committee supported by a majority of votes cast the amendment 2, while it did not accept amendments of MPs – Marta Šćepanović and Radovan Obradović.

The Committee supported by a majority of votes cast amendment (1) to the Proposal for the Law on amendments to the Law on International Legal Aid in Criminal Matters, submitted by MP Zoran Vukčević.

The proposer accepted reformulated amendment (1) to the Law on National and Other Holidays, submitted by MPs Azra Jasavić and Goran Tuponja.

The Committee also considered a number of amendments out of total (15) submitted to the Proposal for the Law on amendments to the Law on Criminal Code. The Committee supported by a majority of votes cast reformulated amendments (2) submitted by MPs Azra Jasavić, Goran Tuponja and Srđan Perić as well as reformulated amendments (5) submitted by Snežana Jonica.

Vote on the remaining amendments (7) was postponed for the next meeting.

The Committee supported by a majority of votes cast the Proposal for Decision on amendments to the Rules of Procedure of the Parliament of Montenegro, submitted by MP Mladen Bojanić.

The Committee also supported by a majority of votes cast the Performance Report of the Commission for Prevention of Conflict of Interests.
