The Committee on Education, Science, Culture and Sports held its eighteenth meeting today, with the following agenda:

- Adoption of minutes from sixteenth meeting of the Committee:

1. AMENDMENTS TO THE PROPOSAL FOR THE LAW ON THE PROTECTION OF THE NATURAL AND CULTURAL-HISTORICAL AREA OF KOTOR, submitted by MPs:
- Željko Aprcović, Branka Tanasijević, MA, Žana Filipović and Ljerka Dragičević (1),
- Andrija Popović (2) and
- Mićo Orlandić, Draginja Vuksanović, PhD and Džavid Šabović (2).

2. INITIATIVE FOR HOLDING A CONTROL HEARING OF THE MINISTER OF EDUCATION MR SLAVOLJUB STIJEPOVIĆ, submitted by MPs: Srđan Perić, Zdenka Popović, Branka Bošnjak, Docent PhD, and Jelisava Kalezić, Professor PhD.

Representative of the proponent of the law Ms Lidija Ljesar accepted the amendment submitted by MPs  Željko Aprcović, Branka Tanasijević, MA, Žana Filipović and Ljerka Dragičević, and it has become an integral part of the Proposal for the Law. MP Andrija Popović, who had submitted two amendments to the Proposal for the Law, withdrew the amendment 2. The amendment 1 of MP Andrija Popović was not supported by the Committee. Representative of the proponent of the law said that proponent of the law did not accept the amendment 1 of MP Popović.  Two amendments submitted by MPs Mićo Orlandić, Draginja Vuksanović, PhD and Džavid Šabović were not also supported by the Committee. Representative of the proponent of the law did not accept those amendments.

Within the second item of the agenda, at the request of one third of Committee members (Srđan Perić, Zdenka Popović, Branka Bošnjak, Docent PhD and Jelisava Kalezić, Professor PhD), the Committee decided to hold a control hearing of the Minister of Education Mr Slavoljub Stijepović on the topic “Misuse of children for party purposes in the kindergarten “Zvjezdani vrt” in Golubovci”.
