At today’s 48^th meeting of the Committee on Education, Science, Culture and Sports, a control hearing of Minister Ms Sanja Vlahović, who is being in charge of the Ministry of Education, was held on the subject of "The current situation at the University of Montenegro"

Committee members and present guests posed a number of questions, and Minister Vlahović answered those within her competences, whereupon Committee members gave their comments, suggestions and proposals regarding certain current activities at the University of Montenegro.

In addition to Committee members and Minister Ms Sanja Vlahović, the meeting was attended by: Ms Mubera Kurpejović, Director of the Directorate for Higher Educatior, Ms Smiljana Prelević, Secretary of the Ministry of Science, Mr Predrag Rakočević, President of the Association of Staff and Students of Postgraduate and Doctoral Studies of the University of Montenegro, Ms Mira Popović, representative of the Centre for Civic Education and Mr Nikola Vujačić, representative of Student Parliament of the Faculty of Philosophy in Nikšić.

The Committee shall submit the report to the Parliament regarding the control hearing.
