At its 50^th meeting held today, the Committee on Education, Science, Culture and Sports considered:

- Report on Implementation of Action Plan for Implementation of National Programme for Development of Culture 2011-2015 for 2014 with Action Plan for 2015, considered by the Government at its meeting of 15 January 2015;

- Report on realisation of capital projects from the field of culture in 2014, considered by the Government at its meeting of 15 January 2015;

On the basis of reports presented by Ms Dragica Milić, director general of Directorate for Cultural and Artistic Production, and Ms Lidija Ljesar, director general of Directorate for Cultural Heritage, it was noted that the Ministry of Culture had conducted a major part of the planned activities for the previous year. The Committee members provided constructive proposals, suggestions and recommendations, linking other areas of social activity as well, aimed at joint contribution to affirmation of culture, both at the state and local level. All members expressed a special sensibility towards the area of culture as a common good of the entire society.
