At the fifteenth meeting of the Gender Equality Committee held today, views on improvement of the current legislation regarding quotas for underrepresented sex in the electoral legislation and finding mechanisms to make those more effective were exchanged.
Following the comprehensive discussion, it was decided the Committee to define conclusions and to submit them to the Working Group for Building Trust in the Election Process.
