The Chairperson of the Gender Equality Committee Ms Nada Drobnjak participated today in the panel discussion “How can we affirm rights of marginalized groups? – Echo of the Fast Forward Human Rights Film Festival 2013”, organised by the Centre for Civic Education, with support of the Canadian Embassy.
Ms Nada Drobnjak spoke on the topic: “How to achieve gender balance in decision-making processes in Montenegro”, while Mr Danijel Kalezić, President of the Managing Board of Queer Montenegro; Ms Maja Raičević, Director of the Women's Rights Centre, and Ms Maja Bogojević, Dean of the Faculty of Arts at UDG and a film theoretician, spoke on the following topics: “Is there a cure for homophobia in Montenegro”, “Where are the women in modern Montenegrin society” and “How the film expression affects the position of marginalised groups”.
The panel discussion gathered the representatives of NGOs, institutions and individuals who act in the field of protection of human rights of LGBT persons and women.
