At its 26th meeting held today, the Gender Equality Committee considered amendments submitted to the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Election of Councillors and MPs: one amendment of SNP MPs, one amendment submitted by MPs Azra Jasavić, Srđan Perić and Mladen Bojanić as well as one amendment submitted by MPs Zorica Kovačević and Marta Šćepanović. Following the discussion, the Committee unanimously decided to recommend the umbrella committee to propose to the Parliament, in the procedure of adopting the law, to adopt efficient quotas and instruments for underrepresented sex.
