Chairwoman of the Gender Equality Committee, Nada Drobnjak, attended the presentation of completed activities under the project "The right of persons with disabilities to parenthood", realized by the Association of Paraplegics of Montenegro.

The project is funded by 2013 European Instrument for Democracy and Human Rights (EIDHR) and will continue until June 2015.

The aim of the project "The right of persons with disabilities to parenthood" is to improve opportunities for persons with disabilities to become parents, and so far the following project activities were implemented: an empirical study on the rights of persons with disabilities to parenthood was conducted, an initiative of advocacy for the amendments to the legislation in the areas of social and health related to the right of persons with disabilities to parenthood, two TV commercials were shot, publications "People with disabilities and parenthood " were printed and the leaflet as well.
