The conference was organized with the aim to critically analyze the legislative and institutional framework in this field, to provide guidelines on how to improve and raise the capacities of government services and other health institutions that can and should suppress this phenomenon of selective abortions in Montenegro, as well as to raise awareness of this problem.

The conference was attended by local and foreign experts in this field, representatives of state bodies, health care institutions, civil society and the media.

The conference was held in Podgorica organized by the NGO Christian Movement in Montenegro, in cooperation with international partners.
