Representatives of the Ministry of Defence, Military of Montenegro, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Education, Police Administration, Human Resources Administration and Department for Gender Equality at the Ministry of Human and Minority Rights informed members of the Committee about activities which they have been conducting regarding the application of the UN Security Council Resolution 1325 “Women, Peace and Security”, within their competences.

It was stated, during the discussion, that there has been an obvious progress in implementation of the R 1325 and follow-up resolutions, but there was still a room for improvement.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the OSCE Mission to Montenegro and UNDP.

At today's  meeting, members of teh Committee reached a decision one of the following meetings to be devoted to topic “Gender Equality and Media“.
