At today’s meeting, the Committee considered the 2014 Report on Implementation of the Strategy for Improvement of Position of Roma and Egyptians in Montenegro 2012-2016 and 2015 Action Plan for Implementation of the Strategy for Improvement of Position of Roma and Egyptians in Montenegro 2012-2016, prepared by the Ministry for Human and Minority Rights and adopted by the Government of Montenegro at the meeting of 26 February 2015.

Mr Leon Gjokaj, Director General of the Directorate for the promotion and protection of minority rights, presented the Report and Action Plan to the Committee members.

During the discussion, the Committee voiced readiness to cooperate with the Ministry for Human and Minority Rights regarding the implementation of certain activities established by the 2015 Action Plan.
