Chairperson of the Gender Equality Committee of the Parliament of Montenegro Ms Nada Drobnjak will speak at the opening of the Conference “Cooperation of governmental and non-governmental stakeholders in implementation of the UN Resolution 1325”, which will be held on Tuesday 4^th June 2013, starting at 9:30, in hotel “Podgorica”.

The Conference is organised by the Gender Equality Committee of the Parliament of Montenegro in cooperation with the Institute for Public Policy and Ministry of the Interior, Ministry for Human and Minority Rights, SEE Network of Policewomen and representatives of the civil sector, media and academic community, with support by the OSCE and UNDP missions to Montenegro.

The aim of this gathering is to focus dialogue and institutional cooperation, which are considered to be crucial for further euro-Atlantic process of Montenegrin integration, and are of extreme significance for coordinated, focused and effective fulfilling of recommendations stemming from the Resolution, primarily with regard to defining the agenda Women, Peace and Security.

It is planned for representatives of organisers and international organisations to participate in the introductory part, and for the working park, in addition to other speakers, Chairperson of the Gender Equality Committee Ms Nada Drobnjak will speak on the topic “Regional Cooperation of Governments in Managing the Implementation process of R1325”.
