At its eleventh meeting held today, the Committee on Tourism, Agriculture, Ecology and Spatial Planning considered eight amendments to the Proposal for the Law on Organic Production.
The Committee unanimously supported but the proponent of the law did not accept modified amendment submitted by MPs Goran Tuponja and Srđan Perić.
The Committee also unanimously supported and the proponent of the law did not accept the amendment submitted by MPs Vasilije Lalošević and Zdenka Popović as well as six amendments submitted by MPs Predrag Sekulić and Branko Čavor.
In line with Article 67, paragraph 1 of the Rules of Procedure of the Parliament of Montenegro, the Committee did not consider four amendments submitted by MP Nada Drobnjak.
MP Predrag Sekulic withdrew the amendment.
During the meeting, at the proposal of MP Mićo Orlandić, the use of synonym for term “organic” in the first Article of the Proposal for the Law was considered, thus the service of the Committee was authorised on behalf of the Committee to prepare the amendment.
