At its meeting held today, the Committee on Tourism, Agriculture, Ecology and Spatial Planning considered and supported the Proposal for the 2016 Budget Law of Montenegro, in part relating to the following consumer units: Ministry of Sustainable Development and Tourism and Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
Introductory remarks on the proposal for the law were delivered by Mr Nikola Vukićević, Director General of the Directorate for Budget at the Ministry of Finance, with reference to basic determinations for establishing budget policy for the following year. Representatives of competent ministries expressed consideration of reality which conditioned the proposed scope of the budget, as well as their expectations that the projected programme budgets of these ministries would be implemented within the proposed time.
The prevalent view in the discussion was that the proposed law, to the extent of what was possible, correctly structured the budget with regard to ratio of expenditures and investments.
