At their meeting held today, and in accordance with article 137 paragraph 2 and 4 of the Rules of Procedure of the Parliament of Montenegro, the Committee on Health, Labour and Social Welfare of the Parliament of Montenegro considered the Proposal for the 2014 Budget Law of Montenegro and on that occasion submitted to the umbrella committee, the Committee on Economy, Finance and Budget of the Parliament of Montenegro, their opinion on the Proposal for the 2014 Budget Law of Montenegro.
As the authorised representative of the proponent of the law, the meeting was attended by Mr Nikola Vukićević, acting Assistant Minister of Finance. Apart from the members of the Committee, the meeting was also attended by the following: Mr Miodrag Radunović, MD, Minister of Health, and the representatives of the budget consumer units from the field of health, labour and social welfare: Mr Dragan Đukanović, of the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare; Ms Vukica Jelić, Director of the Employment Agency; Mr Kemal Đečević, Director of Labour Fund; Ms Zdenka Burzan, of the Agency for Amicable Settlement of Labour Disputes; Mr Dušan Perović, Director of the Pension and Disability Insurance Fund; Ms Stanimirka Mijović, of the Pension and Disability Insurance Fund; Mr Kenan Hrapović, MD, Director of the Health Fund; and Mr Milan Mijović, MD, Director of the Clinical Centre of Montenegro (KCCG).
Following a diverse and comprehensive discussion, the Committee, by a majority of votes, supported the Proposal for the 2014 Budget Law of Montenegro, and proposed to the Committee on Economy, Finance and Budget of the Parliament of Montenegro, as the umbrella committee, to support and propose its adoption to the Parliament of Montenegro.
