Apart from the members of the Committee, the meeting was also attended by the representatives of the proponents of the proposals for laws, representatives of the Federation of Associations of Paraplegics of Montenegro and representatives of the Federation of Associations of Parents of Children and Youth with Developmental Disabilities ”Naša inicijativa“ (Our Initiative), as well as representatives of the “Institut Alternativa” (Institute Alternative).
The Government of Montenegro submitted opinions with regard to the proposals for laws, and recommended to the Parliament of Montenegro not to adopt the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Professional Rehabilitation and Employment of Disabled Persons and the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Labour Fund. The Government pointed out the reasons for this attitude in its opinions.
After the discussion, the Committee on Health, Labour and Social Welfare of the Parliament of Montenegro, by a majority of votes, did not support the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Professional Rehabilitation and Employment of Disabled Persons and Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Labour Fund, and recommended to the Parliament of Montenegro not to adopt these.
