At the continuation of the seventh meeting held today, the Committee on Health, Labour and Social Welfare of the Parliament of Montenegro considered the Proposal for the Law on supplements to the Pension and Disability Insurance Law, submitted by the MPs of Socialist People’s Party (SNP).
The Government of Montenegro submitted Opinions to Proposal for the Law and proposed to the Parliament of Montenegro not to adopt it.
The Committee did not support the Proposal for the Law on supplements to the Pension and Disability Insurance Law by the MPs of Socialist People’s Party of Montenegro and proposed to the Parliament of Montenegro not to adopt it.
The Chairperson of the Committee on Health, Labour and Social Welfare of the Parliament of Montenegro informed the members of the Committee on the Opinion of the Gender Equality Committee of the Parliament of Montenegro offered to the Proposal to the Law on Social and Child Welfare. MPs of Positive Montenegro submitted amendments to the proposals included in the Opinion of the Gender Equality Committee, which were accepted by the proponent and they have been integrated into the text of Proposal for the Law (amendments to the Articles 8 and 18).
Member of the Parliament Mr Dritan Abazović, on behalf of Ms Ana Ponoš, Ms Azra Jasavić and on his own behalf, as proponents of the amendments abandoned the amendments 1, 11, 14, 21, 25, 34, 36, 42 and 43. The rest of the amendments were accepted by the representative of proponents of the Law on Social and Child Welfare and they have been integrated into the text of Proposal for the Law.
Amendments (14) to the text of the Law on Social and Child Welfare submitted by the MPs Ms Ana Ponoš and Mr Dritan Abazović were not accepted by the representative of proponents of the Law.
Committee on Health, Labour and Social Welfare of the Parliament of Montenegro did not accept amendments of the MPs Ms Ana Ponoš and Mr Dritan Abazović (14 amendments) and proposed to the Parliament of Montenegro to reject them.
MP Mr Andrija Popović submitted 13 amendments to the text of the Proposal for the Law on Social and Child Welfare. At the Committee meeting MP Popović abandoned the amendments 1, 2, 3, 8 and 9.
Representative of proponents of the Proposal for the Law did not accept proposed amendments by MP Popović.
Amendments to Proposal for the Law on Social and Child Welfare of the Parliament of Montenegro submitted by MP Mr Andrija Popović were not accepted by the Committee on Health, Labour and Social Welfare of the Parliament of Montenegro and proposed to the Parliament of Montenegro to reject them.
Chairperson of the Committee Mr Zoran Jelić said that during consideration of the Budget Law for 2014 special attention would be paid to funds for compensation to disabled persons and the most vulnerable categories of population.
