Committee on Health, Labour and Social Welfare of the Parliament of Montenegro, at its ninth meeting held today, considered five items of the Agenda, namely: realisation of conclusions on the occasion of requested Information note on problems of workers in the Black Coal Mine in Berane; realisation of conclusions on the occasion of visit to the Catholic Spiritual Centre “Sanctae Crucis” Sukruć; realisation of conclusion regarding voluntary blood donation; realisation of conclusion regarding initiative NGO 4 Life and consideration of amendments (3) submitted by MPs Goran Tuponja and Srđan Perić, submitted to the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Health Care.
Committee on Health, Labour and Social Welfare of the Parliament of Montenegro, at the meeting held on 17 June 2013, reached a decision to request Information from the ministers of Finance, Economy, Labour and Social Welfare on position of workers in the Black Coal Mine in Berane.
As the Committee did not receive the requested information, it decided to request again the urgent information from competent ministries on position of workers in the Black Coal Mine in Berane.
The professional service of the Committee contacted Spiritual Centre Sukruć regarding the visit of the Committee to that institution. The Committee entrusted Dr Halil Duković to agree the visit date to this centre.
Professional service of the Committee contacted Red Cross of Montenegro, agreeing voluntary blood donation in mid-July. It was decided, at the meeting, the Committee to hold thematic meeting prior to blood donation by MPs and employees of the Parliament of Montenegro.
NGO 4 Life representative exposed the Activity Plan of this association with the aim of combating drug addiction in Montenegro, and MPs and Professional Service were photographed for the purpose of promoting this activity.
Amendments (3) submitted by MPs Goran Tuponja and Srđan Perić to the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Health Care were not accepted by the representative of the proponent.
Committee on Health, Labour and Social Welfare of the Parliament of Montenegro did not accept amendments (3) of MPs Goran Tuponja and Srđan Perić, and proposed to the Parliament not to adopt those.
MP Zorica Kovačević, member of the Committee, was appointed as rapporteur of the Committee.
