Committee on Health, Labour and Social Welfare held the control hearing of Mr Predrag Bošković, Minister of Labour and Social Welfare, Ms Angelina Međedović, Chief Labour Inspector and Mr Zlatko Popović, Chief Inspector for Safety at Work at the Tax Administration of Montenegro, on the subject of the Current situation in the Steelworks “Toščelik” – Nikšić.

Committee on Health, Labour and Social Welfare, at its meeting of 26 February 2015, considered amendments to the Proposal for the Law on Supplement to the Pension and Disability Insurance Law, submitted by MPs: Mr Zoran Jelić, Ms Zorica Kovačević, Ms Marta Šćepanović and Ms Ljerka Dragičević and by Mr Janko Vučinić.

Members of the Committee on Health, Labour and Social Welfare Mr Srđan Perić and Mr Andrija Popović participated in the Meeting of the Chairpersons of the Committees on Employment and Social Affairs, held in Riga, 22 – 23 February 2015, within the Latvian presidency of the European Union. 

At today’s meeting of the Committee, Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Travel Benefits for Persons with Disabilities was considered.

Two amendments considered

The Committee considered two proposals for laws submitted to the Parliament by MP Mr Janko Vučinić and his Initiative for holding a control hearing on the current situation in company Toščelik – Nikšić.

At today’s meeting of the Committee on Health, Labour and Social Welfare, MP Branka Bošnjak withdrew the amendment to the Proposal for the Law on Supplements to the Pension and Disability Insurance Law.
