The seventeenth Cetinje Parliamentary Forum, which will be held on 28 and 29 April 2015 in the Government House in Cetinje will be opened at 9.30h by President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Ranko Krivokapić, Chairperson of the Security and Defence Committee Mr Mevludin Nuhodžić, Ambassador of the United States of America Ms Margaret Uyehara and Director of the OSCE Secretary General Office Ambassador Mr Marcel Pesko. 

The seventeenth Cetinje Parliamentary Forum will cover the following topics: Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms for the Security and Armed Forces Personnel, Gender and Security Sector Governance and Reform, Legislative and Institutional Framework, Human Rights and Gender Training in Practice.

This year’s CPF will gather members of parliamentary committees for security and defence as well as gender equality committees of the regional countries, CPF member states and representatives of the prominent international organisations. On day one of the forum, the participants will adopt a joint declaration.

Cetinje Parliamentary Forum is the autochthonous regional initiative of parliamentary cooperation of South East European countries on their way towards the EU, and an important form of encouragement and promotion of parliamentary dialogue between the countries of the region.
