Upon the invitation, Secretary General of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Siniša Stanković attended the meeting of the Council, and on the occasion he wished successful work to the Council. Chair Ms Goranka Vučinić, coordinator of the Council of the Agency, expressed gratitude on behalf of the Council to the Parliament of Montenegro for providing space and other conditions for the beginning of the work of the Council of the Agency.
During the continuation of the meeting, members of the Council of the Agency determined the content of a public notice for the election of Director of the Agency for Prevention of Corruption, and they unanimously decided that a notice would be published on 24 August 2015 in printed media: “Pobjeda“, “Dan“, Independent Daily “Vijesti“, and “Dnevne novine“, as well as at the webpage of the Parliament of Montenegro.
The Council of the Agency formed the Working Group composed of Ms Vanja Ćalović and Mr Bojan Obrenović, who, in cooperation with other members of the Council of the Agency will prepare a proposal for the rules of procedure of the Council of the Agency for Prevention of Corruption.
Members of the Council of the Agenda agreed on the necessity of providing budgetary funds for the work of the Council and Director of the Agency for Prevention of Corruption, by 1 January 2016, and decided to address the Ministry of Finance about that.
Council of the Agency addressed Mr Aleksandar Andrija Pejović, Chief Negotiator for Montenegro’s Accession to the European Union, with the Request for help of experts who have similar work experience in similar agencies from other countries, for drafting by-laws as well as help of experts in the field of information system, oversight and administrative investigation of financing of political parties, conflict of interests and illicit enrichment of public officials as well as experts in the field of whistle-blowers.
