Preparatory meeting of the MPs of the Parliament of Montenegro, members of SAPC, held

The Agenda of the Fifth Meeting of the Stabilization and Association Parliamentary Committee considered.

At the first preparatory meeting of the MPs of the Parliament of Montenegro, of the members of the European Union - Montenegro Stabilization and Association Parliamentary Committee (SAPC), the agenda and topics of the Fifth Meeting of the Parliamentary Committee, which will be held on 28th and 29th November 2012, in Brussels, were considered.

This was the First Meeting of Montenegrin part of the Stabilization and Association Parliamentary Committee with the new composition, following the Second meeting of the Collegium of the President of the Parliament, held on 12th November, when the  decision on appointment of members of the European Union - Montenegro Stabilization and Association Parliamentary Committee was reached. Members of the SAPC from the Parliament of Montenegro are: Mr. Ranko Krivokapić, the Chair, Mr. Milutin Simović, Mr. Predrag Bošković, Mr. Miodrag Vuković, Mr. Obrad Mišo Stanišić, Mr. Mevludin Nuhodžić, Mr. Suljo Mustafić, Mr. Raško Konjević, Mr. Slaven Radunović, Mr. Koča Pavlović, Mr. Predrag Bulatović, Mr. Darko Pajović and Dritan Abazović.

On preparatory meeting held today Mr. Slaven Radunović was appointed Deputy Chair. Also, rapporteurs for all items of the agenda from parliamentary majority and opposition were determined.

The Stabilization and Association Parliamentary Committee was formed in June 2010 after the Stabilization and Association Agreement come into force and is consisted of 14 members of the Parliament of Montenegro and 14 MEPs. Parliamentary committee meets twice a year in Podgorica and Brussels.

MPs agreed today that they will have organized another preparatory meeting of the SAPC before the meeting in Brussels.
