Mr Dirk Lange, Head of Unit for Montenegro at the European Commission's Directorate-General for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations, will speak on behalf of the European Commission on the current state of the accession negotiations and relations of the European Union and Montenegro, and Mr Nicolas Schmit, Minister of Labour, Employment, Social and Solidarity Economy, will speak on behalf of the Council.
Co-rapporteurs for the item devoted to the recent protests in Podgorica will be - Vice President of the EU Parliament Ms Ulrike Lunacek on behalf of the European Parliament and Mr Obrad Mišo Stanišić on behalf of the Parliament of Montenegro. Co-rapporteurs for the item devoted to the rule of law, including electoral legislation, will be MP Mr Jozo Radoš on behalf of the European Parliament, while Ms Azra Jasavić and Vice President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Suljo Mustafić will speak on behalf of the Montenegrin Delegation. Ms Nada Drobnjak and Mr Darko Pajović will be co-rapporteurs for the item devoted to the protection of basic human rights. MPs Mr Darko Pajović and Mr Izet Bralić, as well as Vice President of the EU Parliament Ms Ulrike Lunacek, will be co-rapporteurs for the topic of sustainable development and environmental protection. Chair of the SAPC MP Ms Anneliese Dodds and MPs Mr Mevludin Nuhodžić and Mr Danko Šarančić will be co-rapporteurs for the topic of fiscal economy, including tax evasion and tax collection at the global and national level.
The SAPC was established in June 2010, after the Stabilisation and Association Agreement came into force. The Committee is composed of 14 members from both the Parliament of Montenegro and European Parliament.
