The meeting will be chaired by the President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Ranko Krivokapić and MEP Ms Anneliese Dodds.
Mr Dirk Lange, Head of Unit for Montenegro at the European Commission's Directorate-General for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations, will speak on behalf of the European Commission at the 11th SAPC meeting, while Mr Nicolas Schmit, Minister of Labour, Employment, Social and Solidarity Economy, will speak on behalf of the Council.
In addition to the usual topics, dedicated to the current state of accession negotiations and relations between the European Union and Montenegro, other topics will include recent protests, protection of basic human rights and freedoms, electoral legislation and the rule of law, and the issues of sustainable development, protection of the environment and fiscal economy.
The SAPC was established in June 2010, after the Stabilisation and Association Agreement came into force. The Committee is composed of 14 members from both the Parliament of Montenegro and European Parliament.
