On the fourth day of the Tenth Sitting of the First Ordinary Session in 2013, MPs adopted the following: Proposal for the Law on Electronic Communications, Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the General Law on Education, Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Primary Education, Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Vocational Education, Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Gymnasium, Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on State Border Supervision, Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Travel Documents, Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Excise Law, Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Pension and Disability Insurance, Proposal for the Law on Amnesty of Persons Convicted of Criminal Offences Prescribed by Montenegrin Legislation and Persons Convicted by Foreign Criminal Judgements Executed in Montenegro, as well as the 2012 Performance Report of the Commission for Prevention of Conflict of Interests.
The following did not obtain the necessary majority: Proposal for the Decision on Amendments to the Rules of Procedure of the Parliament of Montenegro, the Annual 2012 Report of the Judicial Council, Performance Report of the Public Prosecutor’s Office and Performance Report of the Prosecutorial Council for 2012.
Under the item of the agenda Elections and Appointments, the MPs Branko Radulović professor PhD and Borislav Banović were elected as the two representatives of the Parliament of Montenegro in the Senate of the Old Royal Capital. Additionally, Mr Milan Dabović PhD was appointed as the Head of the State Audit Institution, while Mr Nikola Kovačević was appointed as a member of the State Audit Institution.
Following the Tenth Sitting of the First Ordinary Session in 2013, the MPs concluded the Eighth Sitting of the First Ordinary Session, where they adopted the following: Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Criminal Code; the Annual 2012 Performance Report of the Central Bank of Montenegro, with the following: 2012 Financial Report of the Central Bank of Montenegro, Opinion of the independent external auditor, and the 2012 Report on the Stability of the Financial System and Price Stability; Proposal for Conclusions of the Committee on Economy, Finance and Budget regarding the 2012 Performance Report of the Commission for Concessions of Montenegro, while the Proposal for the Law on Health Care did not obtain the necessary majority.
The MPs will continue their work tomorrow, with the Twelfth Sitting of the First Ordinary Session, which is scheduled to start at 12:00.
