The Secretary General informed the Ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus on organization and the manner of work of the Parliament of Montenegro, as well as on the progress achieved in the previous period in various areas of parliamentary work. Additionally, he pointed to the commitment towards further improvement of legislative and oversight role of the Parliament, as well as strengthening of administrative capacities and professional development of employees of the Parliament, primarily in the process of accession negotiations.

Speaking of the cooperation between the parliaments of Montenegro and the Republic of Cyprus, interlocutors agreed that the space for further improvement through strengthening of communication at the level of MP sand employees exists.

The Ambassador H.E. Krousti expressed pleasure over good bilateral relations of two countries and emphasized full readiness of the Republic of Cyprus for strengthening cooperation and providing help to Montenegro in the EU integration process.
