Vice President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Željko Šturanović receives the Ambassador of Hungary to Montenegro Mr Krisztian Posa

The Vice President voiced pleasure over traditionally good cooperation between the two countries 

Vice President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Željko Šturanović received the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Hungary to Montenegro H.E. Mr Krisztian Posa, today.

The Vice President voiced pleasure over traditionally good cooperation between the two countries and expressed gratitude for the previous support that Hungary provided to Montenegro in its reform processes. He particularly thanked for the full support which Hungary has been providing to Montenegro in implementation of its strategic goals regarding European and Euro-Atlantic integrations as well as developmental support of Hungary in constructing objects – especially within educational system.

The Ambassador of Hungary said that his country would continue to support Montenegro on its path towards the EU and NATO, saying that, in his opinion, Montenegro would be the next member in these organisations.

Ambassador Posa voiced pleasure over the fact the Friendship group with Hungarian Parliament was established in the Parliament of Montenegro - headed by the Vice President Šturanović – assessing that it would be an additional incentive for good relations of the two countries.

The interlocutors expressed expectance that in the period to come good relations of the two countries would be additionally improved by intensifying political contacts at the highest level, particularly the cooperation in the field of economy. With regard to that, Ambassador Posa stressed that Hungary was planning to continue investing in Montenegro, which he considered to be the centre for the approach to other markets in the region.
