Vice President of the Parliament of Montenegro Suljo Mustafić, who paid today a working visit to the Municipality Rožaje, in a conversation with its leaders, congratulated the election of the President of Municipality to Ejup Nurković and his colleagues, as well as to all the citizens of the Municipality Rožaje. On this occasion, he stated that results are expected from local administration, which will contribute to economic recovery of Rožaje and efficient operation of local government. Mustafić stressed that "the most important legality of the work of local government are - the efficiency, transparency and rationality, in accordance with what are the requirements of modern European standards”.
Also, Vice President Mustafić stressed the need to use at the maximum level natural resources of the Municipality Rožaje, young professionals who can meet the challenges in the future and in particular the potential of the diaspora from this region who live and work in Western Europe and Turkey.
- You and other local governments that operate legally and effectively will have full support from the Parliament. It is important to jointly identify priority projects, to properly prepare the documentation and to provide through the initiative in the Parliamentary procedure a significant funding in the state budget, especially in the part of capital investment, stressed Mustafić. Among other things, he pointed out that it is necessary to work on amending the law relating to tax incentives and reducing administrative barriers for business investment in sustainable projects.
At today's meeting, president of the Municipality Rožaje, Ejup Nurković stressed the importance of such visits, which can contribute to more effective cooperation between the state and local institutions. Nurković pointed out that results are expected from the new administration of the Municipality Rožaje, which would make life of citizens a lot better. Also, on this occasion it was said that enormous debts were inherited as well as labor force surplus in local government primarily, but also in institutions under its jurisdiction. As he had pointed out - full support will be given to the construction of infrastructure, and funding will be asked from the Government in order to provide funds for new investments through the budget.
Vice President of the Parliament of Montenegro Suljo Mustafić was accompanied by an MP in the Parliament of Montenegro Almer Kalač and the meeting was also attended by the Vice Presidents of the Municipality Rožaje - Mirsad Azemović and Idriz Nurković.
