The conference, organised jointly by the National Assembly of France, Union for the Mediterranean and Anna Lindh Foundation, was opened by Ms Annick Girardin, Minister of State for Development and Francophony and Mr Claude Bartolone, President of the National Assembly of France.
The conference addressed the topic: Together for a common future of the Mediterranean: leaders of civil society and presidents of the parliaments of the member countries of the Union for the Mediterranean
At the conference side-lines, Vice President Mustfić met Mr Claude Bartolone, President of the National Assembly of France and Ms Elisabeth Guigou, Chair of the National Assembly Foreign Affairs Committee.
During the talk with Ms Guigou, Mr Mustafić voiced gratitude over the support provided by France to Montenegro in the process of European and Euro-Atlantic integration and stressed that France was very important partner to Montenegro’s integration processes. He also expressed the expectation that France would continue to provide the support in the following period when it comes to strategic goals of Montenegro - EU and NATO integration.
Chair Guigou expressed support to Montenegro in the process of European and Euro-Atlantic integration at all levels, particularly the parliamentary one.
H.E. Ms Dragica Ponorac, Ambassador of Montenegro to France, also attended the conference.
