Vice President of the Parliament Mr Suljo Mustafić meets in Sarajevo with Head of the BiH Delegation to the Council of Europe PA

Vice President Mustafić pays a visit to Sarajevo on the occasion of regional conference titled “Dayton and the region - 20 years later”. 

Vice President of the Parliament Mr Suljo Mustafić met in Sarajevo with Head of the BiH Delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe Mr Senad Šepić.

It was emphasised at the meeting that relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro were very good, friendly and developed in all fields.

- Agreement on state border between Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina was signed in Vienna recently. This the first agreement on border that Montenegro signed with the neighbouring country, and the first agreement among the states of former Yugoslavia, signed with no international mediation, Mr Mustafić said.

Mr Mustafić said that Montenegro had achieved significant results on the path of European integration, particularly confirmed by NATO invitation.

- We think that NATO membership will have a long-term effect for our society, strengthen stability and open room for better economic prosperity. Montenegro’s membership in NATO is encouragement for further European integration, and in the same time, it will influence the overall stability of the whole region, Mr Mustafić said.

Head of the BiH Delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe Mr Senad Šepić stressed that regional cooperation and European integration represented the future of the region.
