It was noted at the meeting that the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, with its project activities, contributed to development of democracy and social and political ambiance of Montenegro.
Vice President Mustafić referenced the current political developments in Montenegro and said that accession to the NATO Alliance and continuation of the EU integration represented priorities of the state policy.
Mr Mustafić pointed out the significance of Germany as partner on the strategic path of Montenegro, and the support given to Montenegrin institutions in the process of reforms and the democratisation of society.
He expressed pleasure over the fact that the ratification of the NATO Accession Protocol for Montenegro was going smoothly within the parliaments of the member states of the Alliance.
Director Dierkes pointed out that the German Konrad Adenauer Foundation (KAS) via its office in Podgorica had been successfully implementing project activities in Montenegro, in the fields such as: promotion of parliamentary democracy and strengthening of institutions, support to the process of European integration, support to reforms in the field of the rule of law.
